This disclaimer applies to all services delivered by Arctic Aviation (part of Arctic Unmanned ApS), CVR: 33417950, Kildevældsgade 64, 4., 2100 Copenhagen Ø, including consultancy, course delivery, preparation of operations manuals and application assistance with the Danish Transport Authority.
By entering into an agreement with Arctic Aviation, the client accepts the terms of this disclaimer.
Arctic Aviation aims to provide an accessible and easy-to-understand overview of the rules and requirements applicable to drone operations in Greenland. The content on this website — including regulation guides, descriptions of legislation and guidance on the application process — is prepared with the intention of simplifying a complex reality and must not be regarded as legal advice.
Legislation in this area may change, and the specific assessment of which rules apply to your particular operation always depends on an individual evaluation. Arctic Aviation cannot be held liable for decisions made on the basis of the general information on this website. If you need precise guidance for your situation, we encourage you to contact us directly.
Arctic Aviation provides consultancy assistance with the aim of preparing and supporting the client's application for a drone permit with the Danish Transport Authority. Arctic Aviation does not make promises or guarantee that the Transport Authority will approve the submitted application.
Approval depends solely on the Transport Authority's independent assessment and decision. Arctic Aviation has no influence over this decision and cannot be held responsible if an application is rejected, returned with requests for changes, or lapses for reasons outside Arctic Aviation's control.
Arctic Aviation assists the client in preparing the operations manual, risk assessments and other documentation in accordance with applicable regulations, including AIC B 08/14, BL 9-4 and the SORA methodology. However, it is the client who, as operator, is legally responsible for the procedures, guidelines and information submitted to the Transport Authority.
The client is obliged to read and approve the prepared documentation before submission and to ensure that the content is accurate, complete and consistent with the client's actual operations. Arctic Aviation assumes no responsibility for errors, inaccuracies or deficiencies arising from information provided by the client, or which the client should have corrected prior to submission.
Processing time at the Transport Authority is outside Arctic Aviation's control. Arctic Aviation cannot be held liable for losses of any kind — including operational losses, lost revenue, lost contract income or other direct or indirect losses — arising from the Transport Authority's processing taking longer than expected, being postponed or resulting in a later approval than anticipated.
Arctic Aviation always strives to deliver and submit documentation as quickly and accurately as possible, but cannot guarantee specific approval timelines and assumes no responsibility for the client's planning, contracts or activities based on an expected approval date.
Arctic Aviation's total liability to the client shall in no circumstances exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service to which the claim relates. Arctic Aviation is not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages or loss of anticipated profit.
Arctic Aviation uses and refers to official sources, including the Transport Authority's regulations, AIC B 08/14, BL 9-4 and other aviation authorities. Arctic Aviation cannot be held responsible for errors, inaccuracies or outdated information in these external sources, nor does Arctic Aviation have control over changes to such documents.
Clients are encouraged to verify current regulations with the Transport Authority prior to operations, particularly for long-term or ongoing activities.
Arctic Aviation offers approved drone courses that meet the Transport Authority's training requirements. However, it is the individual course participant's own responsibility to apply the knowledge gained correctly in practice. Arctic Aviation cannot be held liable for incidents, errors or accidents arising from a participant applying — or failing to apply — the content covered in the course.
An approved drone permit is issued on the basis of the regulations in force at the time of approval. Aviation legislation may change, and new rules, circulars or orders from the Transport Authority may affect the validity or scope of an already granted permit. Arctic Aviation assumes no responsibility for an approved permit subsequently becoming invalid, requiring revision or being limited as a result of changes in legislation.
The client is responsible for continuously staying informed about current regulations and ensuring that operations are at all times conducted in accordance with them.
Arctic Aviation assists in obtaining the necessary permits for drone operations but is not a party to the actual conduct of flights. The client is at all times the operator in the legal sense and bears full and exclusive responsibility for all flights conducted under the granted permit — including responsibility for safety, compliance with approved procedures, pilot qualifications and any damage to persons, property or third parties.
Arctic Aviation cannot under any circumstances be held co-responsible for incidents, accidents or damages arising in connection with the client's drone operations, regardless of whether these are conducted in accordance with an operations manual prepared by Arctic Aviation.
Arctic Aviation reserves the right to update this disclaimer. The current version is always available at arcticaviation.dk. Material changes will be communicated to clients with ongoing agreements.
